I’m an independent author, editor, writer and market researcher based in New York City.
I’ve had the opportunity to work on content development, editorial, integrated strategic communications and market research programs with developer, technology and marketing teams from some of the world’s most recognized brands including American Express, AOL, BMW, General Motors, Google, HP, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, NTT, Oracle, RSA, SAP and Wells Fargo.
My experience working with global technology consortia and standards bodies includes managing strategic positioning and market research and membership programs for Climate Savers Computing Initiative, Concordia Project, Java Verified, Kantara Initiative, Liberty Alliance, Liberty Interoperable, OpenLiberty.org, Open Data Center Alliance, OpenFog Consortium and Unified Testing Initiative.
My nonprofit background includes market research, fundraising and public program development for organizations such as the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Hartford College for Women and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
For the past decade or so, I’ve been working on positioning a wide range of edge, fog and digital transformation initiatives, including many of the technologies – and some of the organizations – that are helping to drive the Industry 4.0 revolution.
I blog regulatory about a wide range of technology, content and digital transformation trends at russdeveau.com. – Russ DeVeau
